It's exactly a complete and very useful manual with all details what I needed. Thank you!I will come back whenever I need your manuals or schematics.
I searched EVERYWHERE looking for the manual/s on this "extinct" amp. Owner-Manuals.com made it available and for nearly nothing. Thanx to them, I can decipher the unknown cables and sort them out. Thanx, Owner-Manuals.com!!
Yes thank you i got the file i was after. There was a slight problem in my communication but it all worked out well.
A job well done.
Great manual...really saved me. The only problem is that I thought I would be able to download it directly when I paid for it but never received the download instructions until the next morning. The board trace pages were somewhat light also: really need to turn up the contrast on the printer before printing them. The schematic page was great; very clear! Well worth the money.
I've been in the electronic business for a long time. I used to buy Sam's Photofact for my needs which intailed having to go to the store and paying about $20 for a package of 3 different units so I was forced to buy more than I needed just to get one.
Owner manual is just at your keyboard and the information is almost instantansouly and the cost is very reasonable. Easy to print out if needed or simply read off of the screen. The larger the screen the better for obvious reasons.
The servo circuit of this model is designed to be adjustment-free and the adjustment value and disc distinction (CD-DA, CD-R and CDRW) etc. is adjusted by the IC. Therefore the adjustment is performed at each TOC reading. The adjustment conditions in the IC of each servo can be monitored in this test mode.
1. How To Start The Mode
OPEN/CLOSE SW SHORT LAND VC
Starting method of the test mode differ depending upon the type of disc being used. This is because the adjustment values of each servo also differ depending upon the type of disc. When using the CD-DA or CD-R 1) Short-circuit TEST LAND and OPEN/CLOSE SW land. 2) Insert the AC plug to the power outlet and install the CD-DA or CD-R disc. 3) Press the PLAY and STOP buttons in this sequence and read the TOC.
When using the CD-RW 1) 2) 3) Short-circuit the TEST LAND and OPEN/CLOSE SW land. Insert the AC plug to the power outlet and install the CD-RW disc. Press the PLAY, STOP and DSL buttons in this sequence and read the TOC. The LCD should display âCD-râ at this point.
20 7 IC401
Note 1: If the TOC cannot be read, âERRâ has appeared on the LCD. The following step 2 and 3 can be verified even if the âTOCâ cannot be read. Note 2: By repeatedly pressing the DISPLAY/ENTER button all the LCDs light up and the âTOCâ display is repeated. Note 3: By repeatedly pressing the DSL button the LCD âCD-râ and âCD-dâ are repeated.
When the LCD displays âCD-dâ â¢CD-DA, CD-R is selected. When the LCD displays âCD-râ â¢CD-RW is selected. Note 4: The test mode is canceled by disconnecting the AC plug and remove the soldering of short land.
2. DISC distinction (confirmation of the FE waveform)
This mode enables you to perform a confirmation of the disc distinction. Confirmation method Press the DSL button and select âCD-dâ or âCD-râ (Refer to Note 3). 1) Install the disc. 2) Press the MODE button. The LCD will change as follows: Example: Test disc: TCD-782, DISC type select: CD-d Judgment value: 68, Measurement value: 37 CF
LCD displays âCD-dâ LCD displays âCD-râ No disc No disc CD-RW CD-DA and CD-R
* All numerical values are displayed in HEX.
What disc the IC has selected can be understood according to the judgment value. The decision standard of IC is as follows.
0 < Judgment value < 10
No disc CD-RW CD-DA and CD-R
TEST MODE SHORT LAND
10 < Judgment value < 32 32 < Judgment value < C8 C8 < Judgment value
The state of the FE waveform can be also understood from this judgment.
