Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Pour mettre I’appareil sous tension
Appuyez sur une des touches de fonction (TAPE, TUNER, PHONO, VIDEO/AUX OUCD). La lecture du disque ou de la cassette en place commence, ou la station ecoutee en dernier est regue (fonction de lecture directe). Vous pouvez aussi appuyer sur POWER.

Pour mettre I’appareil hors tension
Appuyez sur POWER. Indications par eclairage des touches Lorsque vous appuyez sur POWER ou sur une des touches de fonction apres Ie reglage de I’heure, la touche selectionnee s’allume ou clignote. (Voir “Reglage de I’horloge” a la page 28.) Afficheurs clignotants Les atficheurs de la partie superieure de I’appareil et des platines a cassette s’allument ou clignotent quand I’appareil est mis sous tension. Pour eteindre I’eclairage de la fen&re superieure, appuyez sur s CLEAR tout en maintenant CD enfoncee. Pour rallumer I’eclairage, repetez cette operation. Utilisation de la telecommande Les instructions de ce mode d’emploi menticmnent la plupart du temps Ies commandes de l’appareil principal. Les touches de la telecommande qui ont Ie m6me nom que celles de I’appareil principal peuvent aussi &re utilis6es. Pour changer Ie niveau de Iuminosite de I’affichage 1 Appuyez sur ECO de maniere que “ECO MODE” soit affiche. 2 Dans Ies quatre secondes, tournez MULTI JOG pour afficher “DIM MODE”, puis appuyez sur ENTER clans Ies quatre secondes. 3 Dans Ies quatre secondes, tourner MULTI JOG pour selectionner Ie mode de Iuminosite comme ci-dessous. Le mode est automatiquement regle au bout de quatre secondes. II est aussi regle si on appuie sur ENTER clans [es quatre secondes apres I’etape 3. DIM-OFF *DIMMER 1-DIMMER 2* DIMMER 3

Mise en place des piles Enlevez Ie couvercle du Iogement des piles au dos de la telecommande et inserez deux piles R6 (format AA).

Quand remplacer Ies piles
La distance maximale de fonctionnement de la telecommande entre cette derni&e et Ie capteur situe sur I’appareil principal doit ~tre d’environ 5 metres (16 pieds). Lorsque cette distance diminue, remplacez Ies piles par des neuves.

Si la telecommande ne doit pas &re utilisee pendant Iongtemps, enlevez Ies piles pour eviter tout risque de fuite d’electrolyte. La telecommande risque de ne pas fonctionner correctement quand: - I’espace entre la telecommande et Ie capteur situe clans I’afficheur est expose a une lumi&e intense, comme Ies rayons du soleil. - d’autres telecommandes (celle d’un televiseur, par exemple) sent utilisees a proximite,

DIM-OFF: Affichage normal. DIMMER 1: L’eclairage de I’affichage est plus sombre que d’habitude. DIMMER 2: L’eclairage de I’affichage est plus sombre que clans Ie mode DIMMER 1. DIMMER 3: L’eclairage de I’affichage est plus sombre que clans Ie mode DIMMER 2. L’analyseur de spectre, la fen&re situee au sommet de I’appareil et Ies temoins de touche s’eteignent.
