Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. RADIO OPERATIONS
Tuning in to preset stations
On the unit 1 Press TUNER/BAND to select the band.

2 Press cPRESET repeatedly or turn MULTI JOG.

With each press, the station with the succeeding preset number is tuned in.

On the remote control 1 Press SHIFT+BAND to select the band.

2 Press the numbered buttons for the preset number of your desired station.
- To select preset number 20, press +10, +10 and 0. - To select preset number 15, press +10 and 5. * Open the control panel with PANEL OPEN/CLOSE if needed.

Preset tuning
Preset your favorite stations and tune them in directly.

Manual tuning
1 Press TUNER/BAND (SHIFT+BAND on the remote control) repeatedly to select a band.
The unit switches to the radio from any other function and alternates between FM and AM.

Presetting stations
1 Press TUNER/BAND to select the band. 2 Press fDOWN or gUP to tune in to the desired station. 3 Press aSET to store the station.
The preset number, beginning from "1", appears on the display.

To clear a preset station 1 Tune in to the station by preset tuning. 2 Press sCLEAR, then press aSET within 4 seconds. Preset numbers of preset stations in the band with higher numbers decrease by one.

2 Press fDOWN or gUP to tune in to a station.
"TUNE" is displayed when a station is tuned in. "1" lights up for FM stereo reception. To search for a station automatically (Auto Search) Hold down fDOWN or gUP. The unit searches for a station up or down the band and stops at reception. To stop the search manually, press fDOWN or gUP. â¢Auto Search may not stop at stations with weak signals.

4 Repeat step 1 to 3 to preset other stations.
â¢You cannot store more than a total of 32 preset stations. "FULL" is displayed.
