Head Azimuth Adjustment Settings: • Measuring equipment: Oscilloscope • Test tape: TTA-320 • Test point: PHONES jack (J201) • Adjustment location: Screw for the head azimuth adjustment 1) Connect the channel 1 probe of the oscilloscope to the R ch and the channel 2 probe to the Lch respectively. 2) Set the V mode of the oscilloscope to the ADD mode. 3) Play back the test tape (TTA-320) and adjust the head azimuth using the screw for the head azimuth adjustment so that the waveform of the oscilloscope maximizes. 4) After adjustment, lock the screw with the locking paint (bondlock) (1600B).

11. Focus BIAS Adjustment Settings: • Test CD: TCD-782 • Test point: C441 (RF OUT) C433- (VREF) • Adjustment location: SFR430 Method: Play back the test CD track 2 and so that the output level is DC 0mV±10mV.
